Hey all, so I am getting Windows 8 for Christmas and I was wondering if DAZ Studio 4.5 and Reality 2.5 was compatible with it???

Mostly.  Some of the older content is dependent upon batch files which are not supported on Windows 8.  You can read more about it here: http://www.daz3d.com/forums/viewthread/11688/
