I look forward to the updates.

It crashed again, 3rd or 4th time.  So far I think it only crashed when I deleted the genesis figure with keys framed on it.  It does not happen every time, trying to narrow it down.  I sent you a PM with the error report.  Not sure if it’s KeyMate, DS or something on my end.  Posting this info here to see if anyone else if having issues so we might be able to get to the bottom of it.  So far crashing seems isolated and avoidable.

I am not reproducing it.  You may want to disable your keyMate plugin temporarily to narrow it down.  Menu -> help -> about plugins -> uncheck keyMate.  I got your crash log.  I will get narrowed down on my end too.


Of course, the delete key on the keyboard does not delete the selected keys.  You have to click the delete button(the one with the X on it)

I got your PM & appreciate you looking into it, it just happened again :-(.  I know the delete key doesn’t delete selected keys, I setup other hotkeys but it’s hard to break a habit that is over a decade old old.

Does keyMate work on a Macintosh? I’m using DS 4.5.1.6 Pro, and Mac OS 10.8.2. Just want to know. Sometimes these products have just been thoroughly bug-tested on a Windows machine, and then the poor Mac user gets a real shock.

It should work fine on 10.5 and above.  I have personally used it on a 10.6 machine.

Can the interpolation types be used to fix a issue Daz Studio has with pins and hip translation. Where pinning the feet and then animating the hips moving downward causes the feet to bob down during the in-between frames instead of stay in place like they should?

Hi, just one question before buying this : is it compatible with DAZ 4.0, since I’d like to avoid upgrading to 4.5 (seems to be unstable according to some posts on the forum…) ?

Uh oh, bug:
keyMate + autofit = crash

We have a fix. if you are interested in it before an official installer, please PM me.

If you want to wait for the installer and workaround this, it is a little tedious.
- disable keyMate plugin
- relaunch studio
- setup your character and autofit
- save
- enable the keyMate plugin
- relaunch studio

yes.

so actually this plugin is still in developing or am i wrong?
as it seems you gonna at new features to it.

bring the animate tools from motionbuilder to dazstudio.

then you can count me in on this!

Sounds interesting. I’m just chiming in. What are the “animate tools from motionbuilder” you would like to see brought in? (I don’t know what’s available in motionbuilder.)
