Ken, I think this is one of your best! It is really very interesting. There is a lot going on there. The monsters(?) creeping out from behind things are just that - kind of creepy.
Thanks for your kind comments, Melanie. I got a donkey and crowns. It was the middle of December. Where else could that go? The grill was a little difficult, but in the end, with a little tweaking, it fit right in. I like the way yours always have a little extra twinkle and glow to them. This time, I guess it is from your new Ron’s brushes. My draws seldom get anything new either. Luckily the rules allow us leeway to add anything we want!
It’s just that putting the Millennium Girl Pre-Teen into that situation seemed a bit…, well, wrong. I mean, Michael and Victoria are grown-ups, and they can be expected to fend for themselves, but pre-teen Laura…? Not cool.
There’s also the fact that I generally don’t do well with creepy/sinister in general.
I clicked to get my first random number just as I got called away to take Mom shopping (she’s in her 80’s, and we really don’t like her to be driving); that first number came up: 666. Oh, yeah, this bodes well!
Four hours later (old as she is, my Mom is the Shopper From Hell!), I came back to it, and decided to wipe the slate clean and start afresh. (I’m thinking I should have stuck with the ‘666’!) And here they are:

When I drew this, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it: some schmaltzy, sentimental bit of fluff with David getting all angst-y over offing Bambi. Then I thought, ‘Oh, screw this noise!’ I really needed to do something in a lighter vein. So here….
