Wow... Thanks a million for the light info! I never would have figured that out on my own. Can't wait to get busy making pretty lights, yay!

Why, I only ever render in Bryce. Nothing in the contest rules say you can't do your entry in Bryce. Bryce roolz, OK

I adore Bryce. But I would feel like I was cheating if I did a whole contest entry in it, because I've been using it so long I can't even remember when I got it... I'm thinking 2001-ish? So not really a new user there. DAZ studio, on the other hand, I'm a total newbie. Blender, too. That's next on my list of programs to conquer.grin

Ah, OK, now that is a very fair admission, thanks for that.

I would be a total new user with DS as well, as it isn't even on my computer, although i Could find it in my itemised order history if I looked for it. cool smirk

Here's a render I did for a Christmas card 2 years ago. It consisted of 2 separate renders layered one over the other in postwork with the text added as a separate layer.

BWSman thanks for posting that great example and great image.

I don't do xmas at all but I have made a couple of xmas greeting images when I started. Not the most typical of images though. smile
