Digital Art Zone

Can anyone tell me how to use shaders? I assume they are not hard to get your head round. I would appreciate if someone could just give me a quick guide on how to apply them on people and/or things.  Daz 3 this is for. thanks.

Basic use for shader presets is to select the object and surface you want to apply it to. If you use Studio 4 you can use the surface selection tool. 

I have a couple of older tutorials on my site and if you poke around you will find some shader preset freebies.
