Where are FILES in Daz Studio?

well I just downloaded this software but it doesn't have anything inside. no actor ,no model nothing so where can I get them?
this is very confusing.

    Your downloads should also include Genesis Starter Essentials -- that's where the content is.

    thanks I found it but it doesn't show up in the list instead I have to manually FILE-> OPen to add it.
    anyhow I could download all genesis files thanks.

    same problem here - I just downloaded DAZ Studio 4.5 and there's no content - no actors, it's completely empty and nothing to pose. where to get a figure??

    Did you install Genesis Starter Essentials to the My Library folder? Are you looking at the Smart Content pane or the Content Library pane? If it's Smart Content, open the Content Library pane (Window>Panes(Tabs)>Content Library) and look to see if there files are under DAZ Studio Formats>My Library.

    Did you download and install the appropriate version of Starter Essentials?
