The Legend of Old Santa Cat
So gather ‘round children, come one and come all, from youngest to oldest, from shortest to tall,
And all give a listen, and please pass the hat, as I tell you the story of Old Santa Cat.
We know about Santa who comes Christmas Eve, who drops off his presents and suddenly leaves,
But did you know this? He’s got him a cat? I’d say that you didn’t, I’m betting on that!
He comes a bit later, his own bag and sleigh, and not going to leave you some old litter tray,
He brings kitty crunchies, some yarn balls and toys, and don’t give a hoot for no good girls and boys.
He’s here for your kitties, it’s their time to play, so all of you doggies stay out of the way!
It’s chicken and tuna and milk like a flood! Then out comes the catnip, the usual drug…
When all bellies are full and everything’s right, that cat will just leave, he want’s out for the night!
Then it’s off like a flash, on to the next house, to give out more presents and maybe a mouse,
But there’s no sense in cryin’ or thrownin’ a fit, he’s comin’ next Christmas, and that ain’t no ****!

M.I.A.: The Christmas Tree was originally available at Rendo, but has been pulled. Too bad, as I’ve been using it the last couple of December Challenge entrees. The Cat Food Boxes were made by me by texturing a simple box with Internet-found images. The fireplace is a 3DS file that was converted using PoserRay, available Through This Link Converts Lightwave and 3DS files into easy to use .OBJ format files. Free and easy to use.
As always, set-up in Studio 2.3 and final render in Bryce 7. No postwork save adding signature and copyright date.
