Hello;

Now on to something entirely different.

I would like to know how i can make… or at least attempt to make my own skin textures. I have heard that there is also a possibility to map photo references to the V4 template, and add customized skin bases to characters.

Is there any tutorial any where about this subject or step by step explanation that i can follow?...

And i always see in the stores merchant skin resources…how are these used?...

People textures are made in the same way, but sometimes it’s easier to start with clothing because it’s a little more intuitive - a little bit like using a sewing pattern, which you may have done in real life.

I’ve been experimenting with the 3D painting feature in Sculptris and have been starting to see some success painting my own skin textures.

This is one I’m still working on but it’s starting to come along pretty good. I haven’t started adding blemishes yet but I’ve pretty much finished the lips.
