I’m upgrading my computer very soon and my main concerns are cost and the processor, which leads me to AMD chips…  will they work okay with daz studio and the like?  I’, sure I’ve heard of issues but not sure where.

I use AMD PCs all the time. I have never heard of any problems with using AMD and DS.

The only problem, if it can be called that, is AMD/ATI video cards…they are much more likely to have poor driver performance requiring, possibly several different versions to be tried to find the one that works the best.  Not a deal breaker…

But everything else, especially CPU is fine.

My ShareCG gallery.

Just because something costs a lot, doesn’t mean it’s the best…

It just means it’s expensive.

I agree with the video cards. They are terrible when it comes to working with AutoCad, but with DS I have no idea.
