Maybe it’s just me but it seems like a number of the Announcements could stand to be consolidated or otherwise removed.  While the regular stickies seem to be mostly fine per section, the announcements wind up being on each page.  Don’t know if that reduces the number of shown threads per page or not.

Announcements are usually made forum wide, so everyone can see them. There are some people who don’t venture into the Commons.

And the announcements that were no longer needed were culled, just a while back.
