I’m exporting a genesis figure (FBX) into Softimage XSI 2012
Daz looks to be building the file correctly as it imports into XSI fine. However, it looks like the rig doesn’t import completely. Nulls are in the place of the genesis joints even though they appear in the heirarchy under their original names. AND the entire model mesh looks to be weight mapped and skinned….sorta
The problem is that when I try to move a hand/arm etc ... the mesh comes completely apart… it’s like the mesh is not enveloped to the bones.
Does anyone have any idea whether or not this is a setting issue? .... and if so .... what they are either DS4.5 Export or XSI import?
