I created an UV set for the new horse to take Millenium Horse textures, I also created a clone to auto fit your old items to the new horse. I also included some materials for easy application of the old textures ( LnL Ultimate Horses, Mil Unicorn, Fantasy Unicorns and the textures that are included in the Mil horse Bundle)
You can download the files at my freebie site, the link to my freebie site is in my signature.
The files are rtencoded against the blMilHorse.obj. More instructions are in the readme.

Wish I’d seen this earlier lol, just about finished remapping the horse and came on here for help getting the new materials to load with the uvs.

No, I buy backdrops at renderosity.  I think she uses daz content and some of bryce, as I’ve noticed some elements (like moongate and such).
The backdrop is called. Winter landscaps by Melkor. IT is possible she uses some sort of skydome, although this set predated planet alpine so I’m not sure whence its origin.

The lighting is Lantios Core lighting by lantios
Then I touched it up with some snow brushes bought at rendo to add more foregound snow and an icey overall feel to the pic.

Thanks!  Iron Bear was originally supposed to be Iron Pony, but my attempts to make the texture map failed miserably — The DH2’s UV map may be excellent for realism, but not so good with the Toy Pony.  Even simple quarter-marks distort, like that radiation symbol.  I’ve got a number of super-heroes I’d love to do pony emulations of — if somebody could do a more toy-friendly UV with a seam guide I’d really appreciate it.

I don’t know if this will help but crblackthorne has remapped the MIlhorse 2 to take mil horse 1 textures and created a clone, I haven’t tried it yet, heres a link anyway

It works great for using MilHorse textures on the DH2 and Autofiting MilHorse stuff to it — a wonderful and timely resource!  Doesn’t help with mapping low-distortion costumes for the Toy Horse though, or even low-distortion quarter-marks, since the MilHorse and DH2 have such similar UV layouts.
