I am a very disappointed with Hiro 5. For one its almost laterally just the head and body morph. What happened to all the great morphs we use to get? Now I don’t want to see people start plugging Gen X for Genesis I know its there and I know what it does and I don’t need or want it.

And this base is not like the Gen 3 or Gen 4 base morphs that let you use Hiro 3 and Hiro 4 clothing on Genesis. So why is so expensive? I don’t see a 40.00 product. Also is MallenLane still going to put out Takashi? Is there even going to be an Aiko 5 and will she be treated the same way?

Hitomi is only 30.00 dollars, looks amazing and look at all the stuff she brings

After the Launch of Hiro5 and my disappointment I can’t say I am looking forward to any of the remaining Generation 5 morphs.

I wish we could have gotten or still get something more like this. These are some images from Appleseed Ex Machina and Vexille. I think they have an amazing look to them and something similar to that look would be awesome for Genesis.

Did you like the look of Takashi more than Hiro 5?

I really did not see a lot of him but the parts I did see I can say I liked more. His eyes if I remember were a little bigger and had a nicer shape. and I think the nose and mouth were a bit more like Hitomis.

Where did you see Takashi (pre-Hiro 5) ????? (I feel like asking about a Yetti sighting )

All constructive feedback to the product designer. I am glad you shared your insightful and detailed comments.  The fact you identify specifics and offer an objective / comparative solution is precisely what is needed to see improvement.  Its so much better than the drive by general complaint that’s not backed up specific points & example. 

Little bits and pieces that had been floating around in I can’t remember what thread and I can’t remember where else but they are not around anymore and I think in one or two promo images from some other items I can’t remember but I don’t think they are out yet.

But yeah I was hoping for more from Hiro 5 and in stead they put out less than less. To me its almost nothing.

I did this guy I think it was with Genesis testing out the anime shaders before I got the anime eyes and I think it looks better.

I was also disappointed to see just one head and body shape in the product and the high cost of the individual items.

I think there are some facial features dials included with H5, but haven’t played enough to be sure.

For the price of the base its still not enough to make it worth the 40.00 dollars off sale price.

With the Hiro 3 and 4 morphs for genesis I am sure I can come up with many better looking morphs than what the base provides. If you ask me it really brings nothing to the table.

I think people say that a lot these days, that new shapes don’t bring as much to the table as they used to. But if you already have tools to create your dream character then you didn’t need the new product anyway.

For me H5 brings nothing to the table for me either, and I’m not upset either. Saves me $$.

But I looked at the renders you posted that you thought looked good, can’t guys like that work with her? Does it need to be a name brand Hiro or couldn’t you just make your own?

Oh ya know what, I missed one key point here. It’s the price tag that is off and that is ground for disappointment. Even without all those cool morphs of yesteryear I think we can make our own Toon though, but I agree he is overpriced. (at least from what I read, I never was going to buy him anyway)

Here is another thing

Hiro usually brought some extra custom face dials for his own expressions plus a bunch of other ones that Genesis just does not have. And in Genesis its really hard to get a nice ultra masculine anime head.

A Proper Anime Male would have filled in so many missing things in Genesis.

To tell you the truth I have a lot of Genesis Content and I have not touched Genesis in months.

...I actually felt the same with Steph5.  Three body shapes none of which are really “petite”.  No Petite FBM as the Gen4 version has, no PBMs like the Gen4 version has, and only three instead of six character body shapes/head morphs.  Fortunately I got her during a sale, and with my PC coupon, paid only a couple Zlotys.  Find that I still use Steph4 for Genesis a lot more.
