I cannot import any AniBlock files into Carrara 8.5.  The same AniBlock files work fine in my 8.1.1.12 version.

which version of the Aniblock importer are you using. ?
I think the latest version should be 1.0.0.2
to get the latest version, reset your downloads in your (itemised Order history)
