As Bryce 7Pro is free atm and does load the Bryce Scene, that’s the way to get some background pics.
Scene files do not convert to .obj files in Bryce for export. Don’t recall if it was this bridge or a similar one by somebody else but it had the same issue.
I’m fairly certain that I’ve seen of the hallways available as max files “loose” somewhere.
The Bryce/Daz Studio bridge I’ve read isn’t quite as workable as some would need it to be. I did one test some time back with the Genesis Gorilla. Set up the Gorillas and posed it in D/S, then exported it as an .obj. Then imported the .obj into Bryce for the scene. Worked well for stills.
