I could never understand how.

In waht? It won’t be usable in DAZ Studio, I’m afraid.

I can’t see the item, but is it Dynamic Clothing for Poser?

If so, you need to go to the Cloth Room I believe and ‘Clothify’ the item so that it will drape.  It will not work as Dynamic in DAZ Studio unless it is made by Optitex if that is what you mean?

If it’s not from the DAZ store it isn’t studio dynamic clothing.

That isn’t entirely true - there are one or two items I know at Renderosity, not to mention all the freebies.
