Wood Workshop is really a small corner of Genetica. It’s very simple to use and has a huge number of options.
I was happy to get Genetica because Wood Workshop was such a good program (and it was on sale at Cornucopia3D). I made these woods with wood workshop (rendered in Vue as I have that open but as seamless tiles they will work in anything). There are also more complex patterns to make decorative woodblock floors.
One thing to note. Beware a program called Texture Maker 3. It is not very expensive (about $35) and is excellent but ... the person who made and sold it seems to have vapourised and there is no support. It was being sold at another site called Game Creators but no longer probably because several people paid and never received licenses.
