    Looks great, marcusfinnigon! I like your avatar and have been wondering who that character was... I've actually been working on a similar character, but I'm not happy with him yet. Yours has a very unique and realistic appearance. What skin texture did you use? And I would be interested in seeing the head formula, if you don't mind.

    marcusfinnigon . Actually I envy your handsome avator ,, ^^;

    his looks as you say, good mixing character.

    I feel many human race, indian native american , hawaian,, and something like irish,, from him.
    but he is so natural and cool guy.

    Now I am thinking Why I have no morph for mens figure,,,,

    everytime when I serch product, I think I should buy items for genesis men.
    I must need men shape morphs, absolutely I need,, and clothings, too,
    my genesis male has no shoes, he can act only jouneyer scout, I should buy them today,,.
    (no, he had never act jouneyer scout,, I had never used the set,,

    on the other hand I have used magus jacket,, so many times)

    but after I finish long shopping, there are many female items hairs, and clothings in my shopping cart ,,
    and nothing ,, nothing for men figure.,, but I forget everything , then just click with smile.

    why I can not treat him as same as her.,,,

    Thanks man! Yeah the texture is kind of a personallised mix and edit of textures in Photo Shop... I used Frad Kanda and about 60% oppacity and Max for M4 at about 40% Op. I added (Painted) in all details such as brows, freckles, birth marks lips etc. Brows I made in vector form. I also fine tuned the original textures to remove any traces of Hair and unique deatails to those textures. In terms of skin tone, I added Hue and Saturation/Levels adjustment layers.

    I'll get back to you on the facial morphs, I'm currently rendering a scene atm.

    Marcus, your Laura is very well done too! To me she looks very much like an updated version of the original Laura--so in other words, just how a new Laura should look! I guess if there was anything I'd change, I'd say that perhaps her face looks a bit too mature for a "young teen." Perhaps more like an older teen. But I think that was true of the original Laura, also.

    I really like that their ethnicity is kind of hard to place, as if they have ancestors from several different ethnic groups. They could be Brazilian or Hawaiian or Turkish or any number of other things. It would be nice if the actual Millennium Family were like that, or even the base Genesis figure (it may be gender-neutral, but definitely doesn't seem ethnically-neutral).

    Lol, I'm working towards it... I've got a steph almost there, I know she's been done and Gen5 is already here but i feel i must present her before i move on lol :p I'd love to see some of yours too :) lol suddenly im thinking of the line "you show me yours, ill show you mine" Haha!

    Ok, this took me a while... I have a number of characters I’ve made for genesis, but I’m upgrading them gradually with gen 5 and new textures. Here’s my late entry for S5... I know she’s already done and released, but my little guy and his sister need a family so I’ll post it lol!

    This chick has a bit more Hispanic in her I think, I created her with a bit of Michelle Rodriguez in mind :) I think I need to work a bit more on her texture... she seems a little too young... Although the light set im using, Designed to compliment the youth of my two previous entries and isn't helping :P

    I'll share my teen characters when I get a chance (I have a guy and a girl). I haven't worked on them in a while, and since then I've picked up a few new products I intend to use with them (Ashley for M5, S4 for Genesis, Genesis Head Morph Resource Kit 3, and the DieTrying morphs). I'm trying to finish up another project before I get back to character creation.

Maybe you and her should collab to make your own line of characters with those textures of yours. I would DEFINITELY buy! :-)

    Thanks lol I'm glad you like them :) But I should point out the textures aren't 100% mine... I did a diploma in Digital media, Cert IV and Cert II, the core of which was focused on Photoshop and the other Adobe software, (3d animation in 3ds Max was what got me into 3D and ultimately Daz as-well.) - These were various wonderful textures mostly involving the vendor Freja's textures in RO, I simply edited and mixed and matched to my hearts content and added details like vector drawn eyebrows and digitally painted other features like lips and unique to the character: birth marks, freckles and moles, I heavily altered the parameters of the characters and their surface settings, bump maps and the colour tone of the skin.

    And lol, I don't intend to "steel the pedestal" from anyone... It was just really fun to share my creations with the daz community :) I love the Idea of this thread RC, very inspirational and has a nice tutorial learning atmosphere. - I'm gonna keep watching! I'd love to see some more fantastic creations from others who appear :-)

    Signed the D5 petition :) I have an alternate idea, though...in case DAZ has already ruled out putting in the effort necessary to create a "base" D5 to go along with V5, M5, and S5 (and to reiterate, I do hope to see a new iconic D5 like this), in my opinion the next best thing would be for DAZ to commission one or two of their talented PAs to create a "David for M5 and M4" character that would include at minimum:
    * a David elite texture set based on M4 UV maps
    * a David body shape for Genesis, based at least partially on M5
    * a David head shape for Genesis (or better yet, several)
    * a David head INJ/REM for M4
    * a David Morphs++ body INJ/REM for M4
    I think that would make a lot of people very happy...any thoughts?
    Other features I'd like to see in a new David:
    * a David Athletic additive body shape, adding a little height, shoulder width, and muscle definition (but not to the extent of M5 Heroic)...perhaps modeled on Michelangelo's David
    * several alternate heads
    * several texture options for body/facial hair, eye colors, etc.
    * a alternate, younger version of the body shape
    Basically I'd like to either see a younger, leaner M5...or a "David-like" character combining the best elements of products like Doyle for M5 and M4, Ashley for M5, and David 3 for Genesis, with a new elite texture.
