Could we see what the camera is looking at while we are setting it in position for a shot?
Thanks in advance
Hi and Yes.
You select what camera you are looking through by clicking on the camera name at the top left hand side of the viewport window. This menu is useful for saving locations within the scene so that you can try new locations without losing the old ones.
I've uploaded an older screenshot .
Also in the 'View' menu switch on the 'show production frame' option. This will display the border for the active camera.
The directors camera will not show a production frame because it is not a production camera.
I find easiest way is to switch to multiple window view - Quad is what i use _ side top and front to move the camera whilst watching the view in the fourth window which is set to camera 1 0r whichever canera you want if more than one.
forgot to say best to have a look at modifier applied to the camera to keep it pointed at object
