I enjoyed watching your video, but I couldn't download from http://www.animstreet.com. It said there was a permission problem. I suppose it requires and account of something?

Oh, I don't do Facebook. That is the second thing today that I've run into that wants me to use Facebook before it lets me participate.

Facebook is not required however a quick register with Animstreet is required to receive the FREE Gangnam Style BVH Animation for Daz3D Genesis,

Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

    Thanks and Cheers

sorry for my ignorance, but what is a BVH file and how do I use it on daz?

    Hi,

BVH is an acronym for "Biovision Hierarchy" Which is a standard skeletal structure format for Motion Capture Data

With Bvh Files you can load them into Daz3D Genesis figure and they will move or animate the figure automatically without you having to set keyframes.

To use a BVH on any Genesis Figure in Daz3D just go to import under menu and select import BVH file.

(Also be sure to turn off limits if the animation has a lot of rotations, Like a dance or flip)

    Thanks and Cheers

    thanks for the fast reply!
that really cleared almost all my doubts about it...
do you need any other software or plugin (like animate) to amke those BHV files work?

    No other software is needed,

Just import and play. (Make sure you turn limits off)

I think you just gave me a reason to finally sort through and update all of my Daz stuff and get back to it. o_O

  • Awww... I got all excited, but it's gone now...  :-(  Is it available anywhere?

Only from the original maker, if they make it so.

When it was all the rage there were about 4 or 5 variations around made by various people, both paid for and free.

the MikuMikuDance users make them too if you can convert them

this one (which I have not tried, I am a bit wary of shared files) was apparently made by posing the figure over  Psy's video according to the author in their comments.

Which is what I believe Papasmrf did in Poser too.
