What are the advantages of using Poser? And is there a trial version?
have a look here. http://poser.smithmicro.com/trial.html
Well I do tooning in poser, (and every now and then I use dynamic clothes and when I need them I really need them, for certain scenes in my graphic novel.)
I find the tooning easiest and best in poser. And I have a ton of poser content so I would not like to have to modify my lights, and scenes and textures for DS.
I find poser easy to use.
I like poser a lot.
I have tried DS and if my figures would work equally well in both without jumping through hoops, I would use both, but it is not good me having a nice character in DS that would not work well in poser so for that reason I don't use DS at the moment.
You get a pdf manual ;)
I love pdf manuals, as they are easy to search.
I assume both proggies have that?
I would have kept both in my work flow but I didn't want a character in DS that couldn't equally be used easily in the poser.
