I was born in Munich, Germany while my father was stationed overseas with the US Army. Growing up a military brat, I became an avid reader with Fantasy, Science Fiction and Detective Thrillers being my favorite genres. After High School, I joined the U.S. Coast Guard and served from 1982-1988. It was during that time that I began my training in TaeKwonDo. Many years later, I moved to Louisville KY to open my own TKD studio and taught for 11 wonderful years. It is where I met and married my wife, Felicia, and gained a great step-son, John Michael. However everthing has a season, and in 2005 I closed my studio and switched careers. I currently work as a Corrections Officer with Louisville Metro Corrections and write in my spare time. Unable to live on the beach, I reside on a farm 50 miles east of Louisville with my wife and animals: 6 cats, 3 dogs and 2 horses.
