At her father's request bored Princess Pree took the old jester, Brickles, with her on her outing. She was mildly surprised that he had some new, though peculiar material - jumping around wide-eyed and gesturing wildly. Miming now? He'll do anything for attention she thought.
"I'm not even going to ask." She told him sarcastically, "It's always drama, drama, drama with you."
Finally Brickles blurted out, "Behind you!" and ran, a lot faster than she thought he could do at his age.
Maribel, her lady-in-waiting informed her, "It's that damn giant, m'lady. I stayed behind to protect you as best I can, but you don't have to thank me."
"Um, I knew that..." the princess replied. "about the giant that is. He has some flowers for me, doesn't he? Do you really think you can protect me?
"Ha," Maribel replied. "Grab the Goo-Be-Gone, quick! I put it under your chair. Spray it at him. Giants hate the smell."
Princess Pree , very much out of character, did as she was told, as the giant was pretty scary. Sure enough, he dropped the flowers and ran off.
Seeing the princess' puzzled look, Maribel said "Well, they always do that in the movies!"
"Huh? What movies do you watch?" Pree asked, sarcastically, as always.
