NEW NEW NEW UPDATE

NEW in 2016 - Take mcjNewStrat instead, for improved Poser compatibility

and better Daz Studio 4.8 / iRay behavior

a guitar prop with some movable parts

the guitar : https://sites.google.com/site/mcasualsdazscripts2/mcj-1
the strap : https://sites.google.com/site/mcasualsdazscripts2/mcjstrap

first picture finished
second picture ( was not finished )
third picture : shows re-texturizability
fourth picture : ( was not finished, the picking guard was subsequently modified )

the strap is difficult to install, , it takes time and potience but it can be done!

the strap width and strap thickness
are easily changed by tweaking
the XScale and YScale parameters of
the root node of the strap figure ( named “mcjStrapBody” )

I saw this and squealed like a schoolgirl. I'm looking forward to seeing how it looks when you're done!

note that it's not really a perfect replica a strat, i gave myself some leeway to save time

but at moderate distances it looks ok

If that's her living room with the 4 stacks, woe be to the neighbors!
The guitar is absolutely amazing. The knobs are so real with the color just right. I really like the detailing all the way to the string cuts. Thank you

Fender Stratocaster, Marshall amp stack... You just want me to update the musical-instrument freebie list, don't you? Well, fine - I will! ;-P

    (Thanks for the props, BTW.)

Everyone needs to remember to have that wood finished before you render it in the US... It would be a shame to see the Gov't raid your house to take your computer for rendering unfinished exotic wood products on guitars. :-)
