Reducing sheen on skin

For whatever reason, in Daz 4.5 the freebie Francisca skin texture (http://www.sharecg.com/v/29483/View/11/Poser/Francisca-for-V4.2) is super shiny. How exactly would people suggest adjusting the settings to normalize it?

I've found the best thing to do is load a new genesis wtih a working skin, from your library and adjust the strange shiney skin to have similar parameters and save it as a preset under the surfaces/color tab.

Start with Specular Strength -- if it was made for Poser, it's probably set to 100% -- cut it to 35 or less.

That seems to be working rather well, thanks. I'll need to make a few other small tweaks but that was the main problem.

Yes, the spec was all the way at 100.
