    I sometimes play with my UI colours and undocked windows
    hey, I resized THAT and it still broke the forum!!

    Oh come on. As long as you have been playing with it I'm sure it's not your first time.

    Here's my normal DS4 work flow. Boot DS with geni. Start working on a character for what I'm doing, a contest, re-doing my heroes for my comic work or something I have in mind. Start playing with dials, then tweak dials, get lost in all the dials. Add this shape minus the next one, play, play play. Before long I have something in the viewport that not even H.R. Giger as seen in HIS nightmares. I'm pretty sure the Mesh is BROKE.

    Is that what you mean? That reminds me I still have a contest render to do that must be done in 4.5. I'm sure all the dials will get the better of me once again.

    No, this is happening even with base mesh with zero morphs applied to shape. If I try to pose the arm, it just SQUISHES like it is melting.

    reinstall studio, I seem to do that often enough anyway!

    I just left a tip in your other thread on the broken Genesis. It's all I can think of at this time. Hope you get this worked out, I know what I would do in your boat.

    Hint Morphs must go.

    I downloaded someone's teddy bear but I forgot where he came from
    so I rigged and furred him in Carrara

    I wish I remembered who posted him, pretty certain it was on this forum.
    anyway his uv mapping gave me a really STUPID idea!
    it is basically a photo planar mapped so I got V4 and selected her all in the carrara vertex room went into uv mapping, changed it to 2 way split planar, rotated and resized it to fit a photo of me which I had loaded as the universal texture (nude so will not be posting!)
    the basic idea did infact work!
    did not look pretty though!
    (and I did not have a rear photo so used the same one front and back!)
    must get a better one (dressed at least in underwear) and retry and post.

    Not sure if this is stupid or not, but yesterday my Son took my Grandaughter to Dublin zoo, and this was one of the photo's he took.

    seems pretty intelligent to me given the number of stupid people who climb into animal enclosures and get eaten!
    whether they are sober enough to read it is another issue.

    Hi everyone,

    I decided to try and do some modeling, uv mapping and painting and my results are below.


    I laughed and said "Now that's stupid but yet kind of cool."


    I didn’t think they turned out to bad but the seams are off and that will be my next step in figuring out.


    I like the silver band to be the size between both cups and all of it to be a bit glossier. I’m still figuring that one out too. As you can tell, I’m a newbie at this.


    I just had to share with all of you a funny/stupid and lesson learned project for me.

    I did the uv mapping in hexagon. I would like to know how to do uv mapping in daz as Wendy shows in an image above.

    If I was an animal I would not want to eat a human. Humans tend to have all this non edible stuff all around themselves. (Clothes and jewelery and ect)

    I need to find something under six dollars that is a daz original.

    Mum wants to go so I need to check out and get ready to go. I found something I want that is between five and six dollars and I have a six dollar coupon that I can use.

    I got it. Once I can use a computer of my own I look forward to playing with it. I am planning on getting the s5 pro bundle for the extra poses.

    I drove myself to the library and got myself my own library card. Now I can go to the library whenever it is open and I have enough gas.

    This is great, MissBad Wolf. Everyone deserves to be able to go to the library. It's a good place to escape to, and one of my favorites.

    It is nice to be able to get to the library by myself. Time is almost up at this computer. I better go look for some books then head to mum's place.
