My stepfather thinks I use my kindle to much. I think I am not on the forums much. I miss having a computer where I can render or play games. Or write.

My stepfather did not want me to have much piazza nor did he want me to have any wine. Maybe he thinks I am inferior or something.

Morning. The sun seems to be hiding somewhere, is a little gloomy outside this Sunday morning but amazingly still, a little calm in the middle of the storms we are having.

What a day! Crikey!!! :ahhh: :ahhh:

Went to Walmart to add money to my prepaid VISA, no problem - got some sculpting clay! Nice.. THEN...

Walking to the bus stop it started pouring. By the time I got home, I was soaked - had to dry off and drink lots of hot coffee. Phone and clay were OK. THEN I had to backup my old laptop, THEN install Win 7 Pro, which had some hiccups (all resolved), THEN lunch was really late, THEN I decided to go to the strip club and THEN I WAS BORED MINDLESS!!!! :bug: :gulp: Now, how can a normal, healthy man be BORED by a dozen topless women? Well, it happened. So I got my ribeye, ate it, and LEFT. Bored, bored, B O R E D. I spent most of the time thinking about the history for my new heroine (heh) for a new series (heh). Otherwise, bored.

So I came home, finished gettng Win 7 pro going (btw, it ROCKS - and the new install with IE running only uses 1.08GB of RAM). Then installed my writing tools on Scylla, got the audio working, chatted, and now I'm not bored but I am sleepy. So it's bedtime, for tomorrow is chicken wings and writing!!!!

Goodnight and/or good morning and/or good day everyone!

Art classes can't come soon enough. D:

Though I just got the schedule in, and I might have to rearrange my work days.
Art Classes are Tuesdays & Thursdays from 9:30AM to 12:20PM. I work Tuesdays D:
So I either have to drop Art Class (Which starts THIS Tuesday) or get my work days changed (again).

    This is a non-complaint :-o

Woo Hoo, I won big in the lottery! :)

Well, not really big but big enough to have to worry about taxes! :-o

I play about one ticket a week. I figure I can risk $50 a year for a possible decent payout. I've won as much as $80 before with 4 out of 6 numbers but this time I got 5 out of 6 numbers in the NY State Lotto (it was a random "quick pick"). Prize $862. Cool beans! :)

Too big to cash in at the local grocery store. I had to make a trip to the Buffalo area to cash in at one of the authorized Lotto payout stations in one of the Casinos. For me that's a 50 mile trip and in my financial situation that big of a trip has become an adventure.

My 14 year old car made it there and back, so that part of the adventure was uneventful, but when I got there I found myself in the middle of the Erie County Fair (major major event in this area). Thousands and thousands of cars all fighting for a place to park. :( I bluffed my way past the people charging $5 to park and pulled up next to the casino entrance and asked about temporary parking, without success. :( I ended up crusing the acres and acres of full parking lots looking for a spot. Eventually I found a spot just a hundred feet from the entrance, which is a good thing because didn't bring my walking cane.

I hobbled into the casino (never been in one before) and oogled at all the stupid people throwing their money into machines as fast as they could, one after another. Dumb, dumb, dumb! Got my Lotto winnings from the cashier cage and left the casino without spending anything. I didn't even get charged for parking. Cool beans! (*grin*).

So what did I do with my windfall? I've always wanted a great printer so I rushed right out to OfficeMax and bought a great one capable of high quality large photos. It was on sale and they were offering trade-in deductions too, so I ended up saving $150 on a $300 printer. Cool! :) I set aside some of the winnings for possible taxes at the end of the year. I set aside some to help pay for getting my teeth fixed. Finally, and to avoid guilt about not gifting friends or relatives (or store employes who sold me the ticket) I gave some to the local small town church. (I am a spiritual but not a religious person. However, I figure the church is a decent organization that despite its ties to religion tries to do good things for the local people. I did make the stipulation that the money was to be used for people not buildings. I have no respect for churches and religions that adorn themselves in stone buildings, riches, and pontification.)

I would have bought some more DAZ stuff but I already have everything I want from DAZ. Sorry.

    My philosophy about lotteries:
    1) If you don't play you won't win
    2) It only takes one ticket to win
    3) Unless you have millions to risk by buying a preponderance of the numbers, buying more than one ticket for the same contest is dumb.
    4) There is no system. Any number combination is equally likely to win.

wow the numbers came your way, congratulations :)

I am VERY happy with how the fluff turned out on his head in the first pic this time. I AM getting better :3
His head in the second drawing looks too much like a velociraptor or something though... And I stopped drawing his fingers in all the way since the more I tried the less they looked like an arm and hand. Quit while you're ahead and all that?
    As for the third picture I just wanted to draw the large feathers on his tail, but ended up drawing a bit of his thigh in as well. Those raptor tails can be so hypnotizing! Seriously, I honestly don't know why I think that. But after playing WoW for some time, I just would sometimes end up staring at my black raptor watching her tail go swish swish, side to side... Yeah I have problems ^^;
Anyways, his feathers are far too small on the third pic, and a bit too slanted... I like them in the second picture more.

There are games for the kindle fire. My stepfather would not aprove of whatever I do on the kindle.

He got upset that I went to dragon cave on mum's computer. That was because it said dragon not for the reasons Rezca hates dragon cave. My stepfather does not like twilight because it is urban fantasy with vampires and werewolves not because the vampires sparkle.

My kindle hates the word hate so it changes the word to something else.

Mrbl... sleepy.. much coffee needed. Snzzz.....

Regardless, things proceed. Charybdis is now fully set up as a server machine, Scylla now has Comic Life, PS Elements, Anime Studio Pro, my Wacom tools, Google Drive, OpenOffice, Jutoh (eBook publisher) and Scrivener installed and registred! All this on ONE cup of coffee, omg omg! :gulp:

I need to create a group for my two machines next, shoudln't be too hard, then get playlists made for all the music on Charybdis. then figure out how to share out the backup drive, urgh.

Apropos of npthng: it's hard to find a decent coffee maker! Every one tht I've looked at has a pile of 1-star reviews complaining about how it leaks, breaks, or produces lame coffee that tastes like plastic. Blech! I'd be better off hand-pouring my water into a single-cup maker! Argghhh!!!!

I've decide dmy 19in monitor isn't going to cut it when I need as pile of windows open for my Kindle books, a Web browser, and Scrivener (this is called Research Mode in the Loaches place). I think a nice 23in. monitor will work fine.. sigh.. save up for 2 weeks and get one locally, I guess! I think I'm singlehandedly keeping the local Office Depot open!!

    Back to organizing.. urgh..
