I have purchased Victoria and also some clothes, I am having problems getting them into the scene as I can not seem to find them in my library any help would be very much appreciated.
Also what other software is used to help with the renders after you have finished with your model?

If your talking about V4 stuff then they will probably be located in: Poser Format/My Library

Thank you for such a fast reply back to my question :P

Great to know this is such a well organised community

SD4 Outfit and also so hair I can not remember the name of it but can get it if need be?

I have installed the files after I downloaded them but I just can not seem to be able to get

them into the main interface for some reason. I know it is because this is my very first time using Daz and just need more time with it but would be great to know just now so I can get to work with Daz.

    Thank you.

Older items like that will show up in the Content Library tab under "Poser formats > My Library > Figures"

I have looked were you said were they would be and also ever other file and still not there, but they are in my computer in the right DIR as I went through my computers files and they were there?

It is just all the default items you get with Daz that are in my .dir

They are in My Library and not in Content? If in My Library they should show up in Poser Formats>My Library. Some older content Defaults to the old Content folder for install. That is wrong for DS4, you need to point the Installer to My Library. The My Library folder is the content folder for DS4.

Once you downloaded the files, did you run them? The files you download are actually "installers" and you have to click on them to start the installation process.

If you can see the files on your hard drive, what is the exact path and filename?

    Still not luck,

here is the path to one of the files I bought today

    C:// prog files( x86 ) > DAZ > studio > content > runtime > geomteries > xena > 4v

The Proper content path is C:/Users/Name of User/Documents/Daz3d/studio/My library all content needs to go to that path to install in ds4.

When you run the installer change the install path to the above.

What is your Operating System, XP, Win7, OSX ect..?
What file format is your PC, 32Bit or 64Bit?
Did you do a Standard Daz Studio install?

PC Win7 64bit and yes I just done a standard install yesterday with Daz

C:/Users/Name of User/Documents/Daz3d/studio/My library/ReadMe's ((( In there there is 2 more .DIR's one called pics and the other ProductLists and also a readme_7671_2_SD4Outfit ))

    C:/Users/Name of User/Documents/Daz3d/studio/My library/Runtime/Geometries/Xena/VA (( In this file it contains 5 OBJ files names v4-SD4-Boots.obj - v4-SD4-GloveL.obj - v4-SD-GloveR.obj - v4-SD4-Jacket.obj - v4-SD4-Undersuit.ojb )))

    C:/Users/Name of User/Documents/Daz3d/studio/My library/Runtime/Textures (( with more files like above ))

I did try to install Victorial and there was no problem there she I can take her into the software for rendering now

Those paths look right. If you look in "Content Library > Poser Formats > My Library > Figures" do you see folders with the items? (From the files you listed, the ones under Runtime > Library are the ones you use to load the product)

To find OLDER files once they are installed into My Library, as yours are now, you need to OPEN the Content Library Tab. Only new items and items with Metadata show in the Smart Content Tab. Open the Content Library Tab and look in the Poser Formats>My library folders for your older content.

Hahahaha :))) They are there well I have got the school girl out fit in there but still not the other outfit I bought?
so I take it I can just copy the other outfit folder into the school girl one and I shall have that also?

Now that I can see parts of the outfit I can not insert them onto Victoria?

If you move the files they will not work. The paths need to be correct.

As for not getting the Items on V4. You need to find the items first. One folder will hold the textures to put on the items and another folder will hold the items them self's.

To help with that I will need the Items name from the Store. The name of the file does not give me the info I need.

This one is for V4. If you are using it on Genesis and Autofit is not available, you need to put int he serial number to convert it to DS4 Pro.

The outfit is in "Content Library > Poser Formats > My Library > Figures > Pretty3D > After School" and in "Content Library > Poser Formats > My Library > Props > Pretty3D > After School". Once you've loaded a clothing item and it is selected, you can change the textures in "Content Library > Poser Formats > My Library > Pose > Pretty3D > After School"

OH!! And I thought I had all those sets. I hate to say the shoes are not going to play well with autofit.

No it was not that one, I can not seem to find it again LoL'ss so much great stuff on this site. I am still a little confused as to what I can use what for
I have bought he Victoria that cost $19.98 and I though I could have used the costumes on here as they said made for Victoria.

Could you give me a little run down on what I use with this model then?

Man. The one Mike pointed to is not it either? I'm at a loss.

So You have V4 on your system and can load it. You have clothing made for V4 but it says wrong figure. I'm thinking.

There is a series of figures named Victoria. The latest one, Victoria 5, is made for Genesis. Victoria 4 is a separate figure, and the After School outfit is made for her.

Could you give me a little bit of your knowledge and let me know what would be the best bundle to buy and start of with so that I can start playing around with Daz and learning from it?

If possible I would like clothes like these ones @
