Whats the time at DAZ HQ

I came upon this neat little trick today and thought others in the DAZ community might find it useful.

Quite often I connect to the internet to find out what time it is at DAZ Headquarters so here is a quicker way because all you have to do is click on the time in your system tray and their it is.

I did this with Windows 7 bit I feel confident that it should be similar in all versions.

Step One - Click on the time in your system tray, then click on Change time and date settings...

Step Two - In the dialogue box that appears click on Additional Clocks

Click in the Show this Clock check-box

In the drop-down menu scroll until you find (UTC-07:00) Mountain Time (United States and Canada) and click on it.

Step Three - Give the clock a name then click OK and you're done.

Now when you click on the time you will have two clocks, the big one is local time and the small one is the time at DAZ HQ.

Hope someone finds this useful

    FANTASTIC.

    Thank you!

Edit to say: I'm using Vista (I know, I know!), and it works the same way.

That requires hand coding so we should be seeing it soon.

Nice to know that despite the whining and complaining they've had to endure, the admins still have a sense of humor, LOL.

I would assume, of course, that would be "DAZ_soon". :coolsmirk:

@version 3, thanks for the instructions for setting up the second clock. I wasn't interested in DAZ time, but it'll come in handy with another time zone I am interested in. :)

Thanks for all the replies, glad you find it useful.

Maybe Windows9 could have a "Relative to what" option on the time.
