...yup, familiar with that from playing Superhero RPGs. I tended to like powers like teleporting or phasing through solid matter. Did have one character with flight, though she had a habit of exceeding Mach 1 (she would use the shockwave as an attack) which kept the folks at the city's local "Damage Control Ops" fairly busy.
I am doing a Jason Momoa Aquaman render and that's the final piece.
equinoxx put one up at ShareCG last year (I remembered it from a former incarnation of this thread). It's a more modern version (New 52 maybe?) than I recall but maybe that's what you need. http://www.sharecg.com/v/68691/browse/11/Poser/Atlantean-Fork
OK that's a complete re-imagining of the character. Is he Aqualad as an adult?
That's Arthur. The designs from Injustice are pretty interesting, as is the story. I think the comic tie-in for the video game is actually still going as well. It's essentially an Elseworlds/Crisis event.
...OK, a bit of silly fun with Sadie as Jubilee from back in the Wolverine title days.
Costume is created from the Immortal Ronin shirt, Mall Girl shorts, Mean Streets coat, and Genesis Boots, all retextured. Glasses are the old A3 Moda Fashion ones, and hair is Wild Mane for M5.

Actually, I'm not sure when that design first appeared, but it dates back to at least 1993 (cover of Aquaman: Time and Tide #1). Though, the reference I used was the Alex Ross Aquaman poster from his "life-size" JLA series.
As far as Arthur's belt, I think pretty much the go-to for most folks was the Muskateer Graphics version, but he's been inactive for ages, and his site went offline sometime last year or so.
Anyway, here's one of the characters that I've been playing around with today seeing as I was off from work for the holiday.
The suit is pretty awful right now and it needs a lot of work (textures are wonky and I need to make the dark part darker), but preliminary is heading in the right direction... I think.
Work in progress on one of my favorite superheroes.
That's Invincible, right? (I'm not read-up on Image characters, but I've seen the character a few times.) I'd say you're definitely headed in the right direction.

One of the original super heroes
Hercules and the Nemean Lion

WOW! Awesome pic! Love the action and lion hair most of all!
Astonishing! How did you get that partial motion blur around the edges of the set?
Thanx guys!
The blur was added in photoshop using the zoom-blur filter on a duplicate layer, then erasing the centre parts what I still wanted in focus

Ah, good old layers! The solution to many an artistic problem. :D
I misread "layers" as "lawyers". I read it again, because I knew that couldn't be right.
Hey, if you can afford them, that, too. :)
Found this good for a giggle. :)

Although I wish you'd re-did it as a render, this is darned funny!

Well I started kit bashing the costume. All I pretty much need is the belt and maybe a different shirt.
does anyone have a link to the belt?
