Hopefully someone who knows more about Windows 8 can chime in. I have seen people around here who've gotten it to work, though.

Looks like we are still waiting for the Photoshop CC and 3D bridge problem to be sorted?

The current Beta fixes it for CS6 for Windows and CS6 plus CC for Macs. We have a fix for CC on Windows that is in testing, but aren't putting it out until we have it tested. Thanks for your patience.

I just updated Daz Studio 3 to the latest version and after all this time 3D Bridge for Photoshop CC is still not working. Any idea when this will be fixed and made available? Your feedback is appreciated. Thank you CEB

The 20th of May to the 4th of June is not enough time to for the developers to finish the needed coding. From what Spooky posted it sounds like the next release of DAZ Studio Full may be the one you need, or possibly the next Beta Version of DAZ Studio. Code for a well designed plugin that has been fully tested will take a little time to create and test.

The bridge doesn't even work with DS3. It requires 4.6 or higher.

Hi, I have photoshop cs5 and have used photoshop cc. I'm not sure CS6 is worth the money. I would only use CS6 to paint clothing object to make textures for clothing.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks
    Kimberly

Has there been any update about this?

I have Photoshop CC 2014 which is a newer version of CC, so I hope that if you do get this to work for CC that it also works for CC 2014.

Btw my OS is Windows 7 64bit Ultimate, I refuse to go to Windows 8 but that's a topic for another location lol.

    Hi,
The evolution of Adobe seems to be able to keep multiple versions at the same time. The plugin location folders may be different from one version to the other, I think that the solution would be to provide for the possibility of installing at least a part manually (which must be located in the plugins folder of photoshop). No?

Sorry for my very bad English!

While Install Manager can handle installation to multiple versions of Photoshop. The problem with the Photoshop Bridge is that is only works between one version of Photoshop and one version of DAZ Studio. If that isn't set up that way things get confused, both for the computer and the operator. :)

Confused operators are bad enough, but confused computers are even worse. LOL.

    Thanks for your reply.

...and confused IT specialists are even "more" worse

We will therefore forget this plugin

    Hello I'm from Germany.
The screenshot says something like: The Daz Bridgte command can not be executed because a program error occurred.
I have given the Photoshop CS6 CC 2014 directory as.
Why did Daz Studio actually two versions in 64 bit field?
The Daz-bridge needs the version without public ... and would work there.

Is there hope to be able to use the bridge in Photoshop CC?

    Hi,
sorry but I don't speak english.

The current version of Bridge CC is 6.1.0.116 (x64) and it is compatible with Photoshop CC 2014 (Last version 2014.1.0)

This is the Daz plugin which is not compatible any more with the new versions of Photoshop.

CC compatibility only works on Mac right now. The Windows version of the bridge won't get CC compatibility until DS version 4.6.4.xx or higher. Right now Daz Studio is in 4.6.3.xx

DAZ studio has a bridge that connects DAZ Studio to Photoshop. This is not to be confused with the Adobe Bridge which connects various pieces of Adobe software. The DAZ Studio Bridge, on Windows, does not connect to the CC version of Photoshop because something on the Adobe side changed. We have, since 4.6.3.52, fixed the DAZ Studio Bridge to Photoshop and it will be in the next release.

I've just installed the new DAZ Studio Pro 4.7.

The Photoshop 3D Bridge connection is still not working for me :-(

Has anybody got this to work with DAZ Studio Pro 4.7?

Also because I pay for Photoshop via the monthly payment scheme I'm using the most recent version of Photoshop. Which for me is Photoshop CC 2014.2.1.

My English is too bad but I try to explain

    1. My 3D Bridge Situation before installation of DAZ Studio 4.7 (Win 7 64):
    - Prior to the installation of DaZ 4.7, 3D bridge was downloaded but not installed because they are not functional.

    2. My 3D Bridge Situation after installation of DAZ Studio 4.7:
    - 3D bridge is visible in photoshop but message
    DAZ Studio Bridge active Error
DAZ Studio was detected without the 30 Bridge being active. The 30 Bridge can be initialized from the DAZ Studio main menu bar by choosing: File > lnitialize Photoshop 30 Bridge (does not exist in the DAZ File menu)

    3. After uninstallation of 3D Bridge and DAZ 4.7,
    - New Installation of DAZ 4.7 (3D Bridge is not installed - No error Messages)
    - New installation of 3D Bridge (3D Bridge is not installed- No error Messages).

    New try :
    - New installation of 3D Bridge (3D Bridge is now installed and visible in Photoshop with the same error message

Where is "File > lnitialize Photoshop 30 Bridge" ?

That's normal. The controls are all within Photoshop.

    What I do is:

    1. Launch Photoshop and select "File>Automate>DAZ Studio 3D Bridge". A window will pop up with a bunch of buttons. Most may not be working yet.

    2. Launch DS if not already opened and select "File>Initialize Photoshop 3D Bridge"

    3. Go back to Photoshop and if the connection is made, the buttons will all be enabled in the 3D bridge pop up window.

    4. Working with the 3D bridge pop window in Photoshop click on the "Preview Image" to display the DAZ viewport.

    5. Click on "Import Image Maps" for a list of the available materials. Select one or more materials and select "Import".

    6. Maps are imported. Modify them then send them back to DS by clicking on the "Export Image Maps" button.

    7. Imported maps will have a 3 digit suffix added to the image maps file name and applied to the model(s).
