Are the old Daz forums gone again?

Or is there a new link that supersedes http://forumarchive.daz3d.com/ ? I'm getting nothing via both Firefox and IE, and google is showing "error" messages when I try to link the archive by search.

    I just tried and it said "database not available". That could be a server error, or they're fixing it so we can search it . . . maybe. Not sure what the cause is, but it doesn't mean it's completely gone, just not accessible at the minute.

    Not so fine for me.
    I posted the problem in the "SITE UPDATES, ANNOUNCEMENTS, AND CUSTOMER SERVICE INFORMATION" thread:

    I couldn't access it for a while, but it seems to be working fine now.

    For me, it's taking over twenty seconds for each page to load. Is that not true for you?

    Yesterday, pages loaded in only a second or two. Now it's painfully slow.

    Yes I'm seeing it today and it is very slow to load. Considering it's on the same server as the new store and forum, that could just mean a lot of people on the server at the same time. High user traffic will slow any site down.

    They have been doing regular updates to the server so that accounts for some of the decrease in page loading

    Frank,
    Someone at DAZ has done something that has damaged the accessibility of the forumarchive site.
    It was working fine on Tuesday. Then, for a short time it was not accessible. When it came back on line on Wednesday it was (and still is) displaying a broken link icon in the upper left corner of every page. (See the image below.)

    I believe that the pages are trying to display a link that is now broken and is taking twentythree seconds to timeout. The broken link seems to be pointing to http://www.daz3d.com/images/spacer.gif

    Every page on the forumarchive site now takes twentythree seconds to load!

    Could you communicate to the web developers that something is still wrong, and needs attention?

    Thanks.

    Seems to be working fine at the moment....

    And by Jove, I miss the old layout - I find myself hardly visiting the DAZ Forums any more.
    They may have needed an upgrade for the store, but I rarely saw a less attractive Forum
    layout than this one here.....

    Hi, sorry if this might seem confusing. I tried to be as straightforward as I could.

    I can get to some forumarchive threads, but I get some weird errors when I try and access parts of the forumarchive. I'm logged into my daz3d.com account when I try and reach it. Here are the errors:

    I click on "Compilations of links to freebies" (http://forumarchive.daz3d.com/viewtopic.php?t=172452) and reach the thread fine . But when I follow the hair link to another forumarchive post (http://forum.daz3d.com/viewtopic.php?t=94410), I get this:

    {lang:welcome}
    {lang:memberlist}

    I remember getting this when I wasn't a member. So anyway, I tried to Register for the forumarchive (https://www.daz3d.com/i.x/forumlogin/0/-/?returnto=http://forum.daz3d.com/viewtopic.php?t=172452)

    And I get

    Invalid GET Data

    I'm on Firefox. This happens for most of the archive. Am I doing something wrong or am I having a configuration issue, or is this something else?

    Thank you so much!

    I tried it on my Internet Explorer and get "401 webpage not found" errors.

    yes we do know about this problem. The old freebie archives were held on a separate server, we are hoping they can get it back, but at the moment it is not accessible

    Sorry for bothering y'all with that. My search of the forum wasn't finding the errors I have, so I wasn't sure at all. Thank you, and *cross fingers* on restoring them :)
