 ROFL! (see, we still need that animated ROFL in the smileys) I was able to see it. You probably have to be logged in to Youtube, or parent Google in order to see it. Somewhat adult content. Funny as Hell, and SMG is mighty hawt as an elf...

One of my favorite video parodies is "Dances with Clams" satirizing the iffy Kevin Costner flick. It seemed awful funny back then, but maybe not so much today. Maybe the pain of watching that movie has died out...

why do a lot of parodies have to have adult jokes?

For a clean, kid friendly, parody of LotR, take a look at "VeggieTales: The Lord of the Beans" It even is CG. Lots of "hidden references" in there if you look for them. One to point out is the reference to the use of Optical Illusions for the sizes (at the gate)

The Silly Song is absolutely hilarious. "Don't know exactly what she said, just know it kinda hurts my head. I'll take an Asprin, 'cause she's my elf. My elfity, babity, boopity, babity, babity..."

Does anyone remember the Very Secret Diaries any more? I was definitely reminded when Aragorn walked forward and...

Not to worry, Sam will kill him if he tries anything. ;-)

There is the Tolkien Sarcasm page

    http://www.flyingmoose.org/tolksarc/

And the older but still entertaining National Lampoon's Bored of the Rings (now in Kindle edition)
