New to Hex on a Mac... question about view points

OK, I'm not sure if this is just how its going to be on the Mac...
I can pan and rotate up and side to side just fine, but when I drag the mouse down the camera 'jumps' or 'sticks'.
Is there a way to fix this... or something? It is a PITA lol.

    I've used Hexagon on four different Macs over quite a few years and I've never come across a problem like you describe. The only time I had any problems was when I used a non Apple Mouse but things were fine again when I reverted to an ordinary Apple Mouse.

    That is probably my problem, I'm not using a mac mouse. The computer is a loan from a friend and it didn't come with a mouse, so I have been using the one I use with my laptop.
