You have two options. Which of these 2 threads would you like your post merged with

    Neither

The other threads deal with sources of celebrity meshes - this one deals with work in progress figures. Cannot merge the two

Good to see the thread alive (a bit, at least).

I'll just post some things I've been working on recently (but not too hard, I have little time).

Two ladies, both actresses. I hope I did them some justice. Done mainly with V4, Morph ++ and International Faces. Plus Face Shop for texture touch-up (that extra thing that makes all the difference :))

Anyone else willing to revive this thread? This is the first time I've been satisfied with a celebrity WIP for M4. :)

Are these custom morphs or dial spins?

Same with me - if I remember it correctly. I made this figure some months ago.

Wow these are great. Looks like a lot of fun, too.

So in general how did you do these?

Is all of the software available here?

Did you start with basic forms or make everything?

This is a WIP thread, so I'll keep my comments brief.

Awesome work! I especially like the Bruce Willis character; absolutely a dead-ringer.

I am also interested in the answers to Blargy's questions above.

I use V4 on Poser, so I will comment on using that.
Get photos representing front and side views for comparison
Watch out for distortion due to camera focal length.

I try to get the basic shape by dial turning.
I then use a second program to produce a full head morph.
Many use zbrush. I use an old program called Argile which is no longer supported.

Man I hope we see some genesis celebs in the future. Only having Megan Fox and Kirsten Dunst is kind of boring and there are no male ones at all that I can find : /

    Greetings,

Man I hope we see some genesis celebs in the future. Only having Megan Fox and Kirsten Dunst is kind of boring and there are no male ones at all that I can find : /
    GenX FTW!

I use variations on Emma Watson and Scarlett Johansson all the time, starting from them starts me with a just subtly 'realer' morph, and both of them came into Genesis via GenX in my system.

Oddly enough I don't know if I've got any of the male M4 models, much less converted them to Genesis...

    But still...GenX it.

Isn't GenX moderately expensive? How difficult is it to use? I'd love to get it but if it's a good amount of work I don't know if it's worth it

It's quite easy to use, and it comes with a short illustrated guide too
