Hey all,
Been away from the forums for a while. Seems V6 is here? Wow... I got a lot of questions I guess. Is there a FAQ?
The most pressing and probably most common being... Will all my old Genesis stuff work with G2? How does one get G2? I can't find a product anywhere o.O

Genesis stuff converts just fine. The Genesis 2 Base Female should be in your account by now.

You don't really, G2F works in DS 4.5, - but you won't be able to fit Genesis clothes to G2F without DS 4.6 (as such functionality is absent from Ds 4.5)

No, I mean I have 4.6 but not G2F. I was hoping re downloading it might trigger something so it shows up lol
It's a separate installer. Go to your Product Library and search for "Genesis 2 Female."
Not to sound ungrateful, but that is the first thing I did. It really isn't there.

Try clearing your Browser cache, and then a hard refresh on the product library page. Shift=Ctrl+R or Shift+ Brower Refresh button or Ctrl F5

Try this: find "DAZ Studio 4.6" in your Product Library, scroll down to where it says "This product is a bundle that contains the following products..." and you should see "Genesis 2 Female Starter Essentials" listed there.
If you are a Poser user and haven't ordered DS4.6, do so...that should give you access to Genesis 2 Female, which you can use in Poser via the DSON Importer.

Not entirely. There are still issues with some clothing items and footwear has some serious issues. MallenLane has done a wonderful job converting V4 shoes to work with Genesis 2, but Genesis to G2 figures remains a bit sketchy. Also I'm not sure if it's isolated but there seems to be a bug in the autofit conversions where it comes up with two autofit dialogues one after the other. Cancelling the second one seems to give better results, but it's still not quite perfect. Just something to be aware of.
