I think you misunderstood, As I read it the idea is renders using Daz Monsters and creatures.

THat includes all the pre made monsters and creature creators if you don't have pre :)made monsters. At Least that is how I read it. :-)

firstly.. this was a interesting project, and a fun one *happy smile* Thanks to RawArt for having that flash sale, without that I wouldn't have had this lovely werewolf *smiles*

A funny little note, I had rendered and finished up the picture, when I realised it was too big... *laughs* So I went back and rendered a smaller version :) It just didn't look the same with just resizing it in photoshop *shrugs* anyhow, here it comes...

Figured used : Garoul the Werewolf

    Image Title : Moonlight Prowlers

Software used : Daz Studio 4.6 plus Photoshop CS6 for adding a little of Ron's Fog and my name

(bigger versions are available, one raw from a different angle, and this angle with postwork both at 1800 in width)

Edit 29/6 - edited the post to show the important information more clearly *smiles* (and to remove lots of what wasn't necessary)

I really like the subdued lighting in that one, Carola. Makes the beasties look quite sneaky!

    6. Submit no more then 1 image.

as meaning we can only submit one entry? Or, as someone just asked me, does it mean one just one image per entry? ('Cause I whole gotta lotta monster renders percolating in my head.)

It means you can only add 1 image to the thread.

In which case, if I've broken the rules of the thread, can I have my second post with the pre-B&W version of my image removed?

Hi all, this is my entry. It originally started as DAZ Monstrosities: Undead Fiend but i think I spun pretty much every morph dial I had and kinda lost track of what I used.

Figure used: DAZ Monstrosities: Undead Fiend, Genesis creature creator bundle.

    Title: The Last Grab.

    Programs used: Daz3D, PWToon.

    No post work.

Just list the base figure you used. Nothing else in the scene needs named.

Nice -- troll works great at that size.

heh all an illusion! He's actually normal size and I scaled down the 2 fantasy characters, tree and campfire! It made building the set around the troll (stonemason's modular ruins) a lot easier.

Not an entry most probably, because even if I used RawArt's Mandroids as a texture on Genesis, I also used a bunch of morphs from everywhere. Genesis. DS 4.5.

This is not so much a scary image, but it does include Monsters.

    1. Undead Fiend
    2. "Just Another Rotten Heartache"
    3. DAZ Studio 4.6

"As the Third Great Infestation progressed through its infancy and into its adolescent phase but
before it reached full maturity as a world wide epidemic, a more human like affectation was observed by several
qualified experts. This involved a sort of infatuation by the infected toward the living. One of the traits of this odd
behavior was the presentation of gifts, particularly chocolate and roses, by the infected to a living person. The living
who received such affections was well advised to be wary and take precautions, because everyone knew the infected really
had only one thing in mind."
As noted in the Book of the Great Undead Infestations in the 21st and 22nd Centurys (Old Earth)

Had this storyline in my head:

"All the noise outside was disturbing my nap. I really needed the sleep after a long night of studio work with a diva model who knew nothing about modeling. The noise sounded like a lot of frightened people, so I climbed up on the roof with my camera, hoping to get something good I can sell. I wasn't ready for this! I forgot all about the 'shot' and froze. It saw me. Fear became stupidity and I held up the camera and said 'Smile?'. The flash was set to auto so of course it went off and made 'it' angry. Like it wasn't already destroying everything in it's path. It headed my way, fast! I jumped to the door and made my way about half way down when the roof came off and I fell to to the ground. I'm fairly certain several bones are broken but I don't think I will get help. It's looking at me over the wall that used to hold up the ceiling. All I could think of is Van Gogh wasn't famous until after he died. I better make this a good shot..."

Skullcrusher Ogre, subsurface shader, Destroyed City, Ron's smoke and flames. Rendered in DS 4.6 with 3Delight.
