I did this a couple of years ago and some of you have probably seen it but after going over and over it theres a little tick! Can you find it? By the way every thing you see was made by me in HEX! Textured and animated in Carrara. Post edit in AE..
The Animated tracks were pulled off using SPARROWHAWKS TRACKS plugin! And after a short get to know period rather easy to use. If any of you need an animated track in carrara you have TO USE SPARROWHAWKS plugin
I have tried for YEARS to do it in carrara alone it cant be done.
Only issue is you cant animated it like rolling over bumps and stuff

Did I find it, did I, did I...?
SORT of when the tank STOPS the drive wheel clicks back a little I tried for a day to figure out why but never figured it out
So, I didn't win the prize.... hmmmm...

Gorgeous! All other 3 d apps have a way to animate treads I have no idea why Carrara can't
Maybe the frame rate of the animation and the frame rate of the video don't match?
I've had some weird issues because of that...
