looking for a 'horned' hair style for V4

But not the Chrystalline style that DAZ has.

I have seen it used in renders - the 'horns' are shorter, more cone like, and don't stick up, are more horizontal.

Does anyone know of a style that fits that description?

    Thanks for the suggestion but the one I am thinking of doesn't have literal horns and the 'horns' poke out to the side rather than forwards.

    That is heading in the right direction but it isn't the one I am trying to find based on the render I saw.

    This is the problem with these sorts of searches. When I/you see it it is not interesting at the time but some time later you wish you had made a note of it.

    This is the image that started the search off. It is that of the Queen of Naboo in the Clone Wars series season 4.

    It was that which reminded me of this render I had seen.

    So it will give an idea of the general look I am wanting to achieve.

    Thanks for the suggestions.

    The problem with the Chrystalline hair is that the 'horns' don't go out horizontally and their position doesn't appear to be adjustable. Judging from the promo images they appear to be pointing slightly backwards.

    The Star Wars/Clone Wars universe has some amazing character designs in it.

    Much as I am a fan I am not trying to duplicate the Queen of Naboo's look. It is just that seeing it triggered off this memory of the render I had seen and with some of the images I am creating these days I thought I could use it if I could track it down.

    But that Greek fantasy hair has some interesting possibilities I must admit.

    What about trying to add to cone primitives with some toruses (is that the plural of torus?) for the hairbands?
    And a top hat for the ... top?

    Cymbindium: yes, that is very close to what I have in mind. Are you using an available hair set or is it 'home made'?

    Sorry, I was obviously editing my post with the details of the hair when you were writing yours.....:) The hair is from the Black and White set by Samildanach, as detailed in my edit, but I don't know if it is still on sale anywhere, since it is no longer on sale at Rendo. Good luck in tracking it down - maybe Samildanach still sells it elsewhere, why not try contacting him/her?

    I hope you manage to contact the original creator - he/she might still sell it somewhere else, or they might even be willing to sell/give you the hair privately if you tell them it is just what you're looking for! :0) (Seriously, a vendor did just that for me when I was hoping to buy a product no longer on sale last year....!) Anyway, please let us know if you find it or anything else that suits.
