Hmm well before all the good peoples renders start to show up I'll sneak in and show the two i didn't go with for the contest.

Both using the ally set from the dark places bundle.

Those images definitely qualify as "good people's renders". :)

This is a great idea. The Village Courtyard is one of my favorites.

Evening Stroll was made a few years back, the other is still WIP and won't be finished for some time to come which is a mix of Urban Future 3 and 4, Urban Sprawl with a few freebies thrown in for good measure. Some Stonemason signs we remapped and some signs I made in Blender and textures home made. Still a long way to go before it is finished, printed and on my wall. Yes the alley is Jack Tomalin's Mar Souks 2012 but everything else is pretty much Stonemason. :)

I can not thank Stonemason enough for his outstanding work. These scenes couldn't have been possible without it!

Here is one called "Containment" I started for the contest using Faded Industry but stopped before it finished baking, just felt like it didn't "stand out" enough.

I've used StoneMason stuff for quite a few of my renders. They generally come out pretty good in LuxRender, too.

    Streets of Asia 2
High Fashion in the Streets of Asia

    Village Courtyard
    Lavender Angel

    Streets of the Mediterranean
    Going Clubbing (NSFW)

    Return to Enchanted Forest
    Forest Walk
    Huntress in the Woods

    Medieval Castle
Welcome to My Island Home (NSFW)

    Urban Future 4
    On The Hunt (NSFW)
That Way (also has the Mech Enforcer bot)

    Urban Future 3
    Air Pursuit (NSFW)

    Skydeck
Always Raining on the Skydeck (NSFW)

And more... It's nice to see quality environment props (and even figures -- I love the CamBot) in multiple genres. I also like that StoneMason products often include normal maps instead of bump maps, which is part of what makes then render better in LuxRender.

I realized the other day that I had not done any dragon renders yet.

Stonemason is the goto for Ruins.

I used Castle ruins and jungle ruins.

...awesome work guys, out of town on vacation still but have something ive wanted to add. i think we all agree that Stonemasons products are not only top quality but are modular and provide excellent value. So many times (I manage in retail, hence the grey hair) I see people who only voice an opinion if its negative, so i think its well deserved to show appreciation. Thanks to everyone for posting and i hope we can keep this going for awhile.
    :)

I just wanted to share this fun news regarding my use of Stonemason's fantastic sets:

So a render I made this week using Stonemason’s Dark Places Back Alley called Predator Vs. The Zombie Apocalypse is getting a ton of traffic on FB. Someone had reposted my image (fortunately giving me credit) on Stan Winston’s School of Character Arts official page. 1300 likes and climbing! https://www.facebook.com/StanWinstonSchool

This is the biggest exposure I have gotten with any of the art, music or video editing I have done so I am super happy and grateful! Thank you to Stonemason once again for his amazing work. This new picture wouldn’t have even been possible with out his amazing 3D architecture.

    Thanks.
