Sewing props needed!

I would love to see a kit with sewing stuff--needles, thread, spools of thread, pins, pin cushions, a tape measure, bolts of fabric, and a vintage sewing machine. I would especially love an old Sears-type pedal sewing machine. I've looked all over the net for these things for a project I'm working on and have been unsuccessful at finding much for Poser.

Thanks,
BB

Well Ness Repros has some of that...

    http://www.nessrepros.co.uk/

The site can be a bit of a bear to navigate, so it is actually best to copy and paste that link. The items will be on the needlework page. (he's got all sorts of filtering enabled to prevent hot linking)

There's some sewing machines on Turbosquid...but they are expensive and not rigged.

There's also an old one...by Jean-c/Cephalene that's in pz3 format...I'm not sure if it is still available. I'm trying to see if I can find it anywhere. (and if it still works in DS4.5...don't have newer versions of Poser, so can't check there).

Yes...it's still available on Renderosity...and it loads in DS4.5...since it's an older Poser item it needs materials tweaking in DS and probably could stand some mats updating in Poser.

    And edit again: Added render

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll check out Ness Repros. Yes, Turbo Squid is outrageously expensive and their 3D models can't be used in commerical stock images, which makes them useless to me. I'd bought a bunch of models there a few years back only to discover that I couldn't use them in my artwork. I did license Jean's sewing machine for commercial use a few weeks ago but haven't gotten around to trying it out yet.

Links are allowed and even encouraged. Especially for items in the DAZ store

Well, it's now almost a year later when this thread started but it seems the link to nessrepros is not working at all. When I click on the above link it just say I don't have permission to go there. Is this the case for everyone or is the site simply not working anymore? I am interested to download some of the needlework goodies that mmalbert is currently sharing on her blog (part of 2013 Christmas freebies) also with links but the same occurred from there too. It's kind of strange that she can get to the items. I can remember that some time back people also experienced problems with the site and alternative links were given but now I can't find the particular threat here, also tried the forum archive but no luck. Any one else know if these are still available?

By the way, I have find this thread we are now currently in by searching.

    Thank you in advance.

    Laura

I am a Firefox user and experience the same as said above

I can't give you a quick solution, but my next pack will have scissors (with open/close morph), 2 spools of thread and a needle in it. It's actually a pack of household items - mop, bucket, broom, drying rack, shopping bags, etc, and it won't be out until March, but it's the only thing I have right now.

I haven't seen or heard from him in a while...Arien may know I believe she has kept in touch.
