Genesis Santa

I'd like to see a santa suit for genesis and a santa beard/hairstyle suitable for christmas renders. Hat and suit could be usuable by everyone, and dark and light-skinned santa, with age morphs.

If you have the V4 Wizard Robe http://www.daz3d.com/shop/v4-wizard-robe That would work for an "old world" Santa on a Genesis figure, Especially with this set of textures: http://www.sharecg.com/v/20965/View/11/Poser/Celebration-for-Wizard-Robe. There is also a version of the Wizard robe for M3 http://www.daz3d.com/shop/wizard-robes-for-m3 (which I believe is what the Celebration set was made for.) If you have M3V3 shapes for Genesis http://www.daz3d.com/shop/v3-and-m3-shapes-for-genesis (for the M3 clone), you should be able to convert it to fit Genesis using Autofit or Transfer Utility. There's also the "Father Christmas" texture set for the M3 Wizard's robes and M3 morphing hooded cloak: http://www.daz3d.com/shop/father-christmas

As for the hat, Most Digital Creations also has a Santa hat prop: http://www.most-digital-creations.com/free_poser_poses_textures_morphs_props_27.htm while EvilInnocence.com has a morphing santa hat for V4 on their site http://www.evilinnocence.com/morphing-santa-hat-for-v4.html both are free.

As for the beard, here's a fibermesh beard for Genesis from ShareCG: http://www.ShareCG.com/v/61270/gallery/21/DAZ-Studio/Genesis-Fibermesh-Beard. It can be used to make anything from a simple moustache to a goatee, to a full, thick beard. And, it's free.

As for morphs, to make the character "old", try the free DieTrying's 182 V4 morphs for Genesis by SickleYield over at ShareCG: http://www.ShareCG.com/v/58198/gallery/21/DAZ-Studio/DieTryings-182-V4-Morphs-for-Genesis

WOW! Great suggestions in this thread... I will try it.

I still want a gensis version though. Some of the older stuff doesn't look as good, and with genesis capabilites I would like all the adjustments and morphs to make a more reaslistic santa.

I'll buy it! I'm sure if it is as well done as your neanderthal it'll look cool.

This is very much what I am looking for! Now that Genesis is Poser compatible, I really want this!

I would definitely purchase a Santa character for genesis. Especially if that character had morphs to change him to a round and jolly Santa Claus or to a more traditional and dignified St. Nicholas. And having beard and eyebrow options, etc would absolutely seal the deal. :)

I have used both Santa Suits available here on Genesis using auto fit. They work just fine. I also use the hair and beard for Mec4d's Neanderthal for Genesis and turn it white and grey. I am working on an animated music video for "I Wanna Hippoptotamas for Christmas". Here is what Santa Genesis can look like...don't worry...Santa is a little ticked off in this scene.

Although this seems like a great outfit…

    ‘Santa Baby’
    http://www.daz3d.com/shop/new-releases/llf-santa-baby

Typically another scant selection for the girls before even giving Santa himself a look-in approaching so close to Christmas!!!!

    Please give us Genesis Santa!
Fingers crossed DAZ &/or a PA has something coming up.

    @jaebea... Great job you've done!

I am late , very late but almost done with my full character and clothing for Genesis
it is full character and not just clothing set ..

and previews are not textured yet and just plain color as I am finishing it this weekend so on Monday he can enter the room :))
this will be the original based Santa minder commercial look
additional stuff in progress also so you will have 1 weeks for doing art work before Christmas .. DS4,5 and DSON for Poser

Wow this looks awesome! Glad I found this old thread. Any chance this item will go on sale? Also, not sure I understand the pricing structure on your site. It says $15,9
