Issue with Michael 3 and Police outfit in Daz 3d 4.5

I need a little help here, I am trying to add the police outfit to Michael by double clicking or dragging and dropping to the selected body part but they simply will not get applied.

I am using the Michael 3 figure, have installed the police outfit files in the correct locations and the outfit appears in my content library.

I'm running this on a new system with Win 8.

Any help will be appreciated.

A link to the item would be handy?

Is this item made for Michael 3? Are you using the original M3 character, or just the Iconic M3 shape for Genesis?

Are you sure you are not trying to apply a MAT pose?

From the links you have given, that should all work OK.

As BWSman says, you may be trying to apply a texture to a model which hasn't been loaded yet. Load M3 first, select M3 in the Scene pane, then go to the Figures folder to load the parts of the uniform. If that is what you are doing, could you please post a screenshot or your content libray showing the items.

These are materials optimised for DAZ Studio.

Anything for Michael 3 will be in Poser Format, and that is where you need to look in the Content Library pane. Go to Poser Formats > My Library > Figures, and you will find the CR2 files in there. After you have loaded the objects, go to the DS ones, and load the correct textures, that is how it was done years ago.

All DAZ 3D figures prior to Genesis were in Poser Format.
