is there a The Multi-Layered Image Editor in daz 4.5 or do I need daz 3 for to make them?

I know they work fine in 4.5 but how do I make some in 4.5?

    The LIE should be included, as long as you have the free DAZ Studio 4 Pro from the store and not the direct download.

    As Richard points out if you have the Pro serial number, the LIE tools are available via the Surfaces tab on any sub-component that supports a texture map (diffuse, bump, specular, etc.).

    Just click on the map pulldown and select Layered Image Editor.
