I have a file: 9367_1_dpc_DMDawnBreaker_1.exe

Is the version information encoded in that?

    Yep, at the end _1.exe that's the version. Updates change it to _1.1 and so on.

    No, not quite, that's an old-style installer, which might have multiple files as well as version updates. The current installers with version numbers will always have a decimal point, e.g. 1.0
