You can do animations using the DS Timeline, but when you first install DS4, you get Animate 2 for a 30 day trial. After the trial period it reverts to Animate Lite which does not have the full functionality of the paid for version.

There is also an Animation forum here too.

    It can be done
However I've personally found it so difficult and frustrating creating Character animation with Daz studio that I wouldn't recommend using it.

Here is an animation I did very quickly and easily with the AniBlocks dance moves.

That ani made my day, love it :)

Out of curiosity I have fiddled a little with animation and found it to be fairly simply as you say; using AniBlocks (dance).

That's what we see in germany ;-)

    BTW,
how do you combine audio and video in the final movie?

I would definitely export animation for example; ;avi then load that file into video editing software and then add the audio. This allows you to do much more especially if the video editing software has a lot of great features.

It uses Bach in the beginning of the video, I bet the rights are OK for USA and some other countries but not for Germany.
To answer your question, if you upload to Youtube you can just select an audio track to add, so you have nothing else to do beside uploading the video. But since rights can be unavailable in some countries, as you have seen (or not! ;-) ), Sara's method is better, though it is more work.
