On my 4.5.0.114 it shows up at the bottom of the Window > Tabs list rather than in correct alphabetical position.

Is it listed as registered in your help\about installed plugins?
If so did you just register it?
You may need to restart DS to see it...I know I got a message to that effect when I registered it.
Registered and installed properly. I went ahead and saved out my work in DS and closed it down. Reset the Generation X plugin, downloaded, reinstalled still the same. I see something called a "Batch Convert" but other than that I don't see "Gen X" or anything like that. :-(
Okay...did you download the plugin for 4 or 4.5? Which version of DS are you using?
I know I almost downloaded v4 but realised in time that it needed to be the 4.5 one?
sorry if I'm asking you things that you've already tried...just trying to cover the basics first.
Nope, I always make sure it's the 4.5 version. I just opened up the PDF and it's saying that if it's not on the tool bar I can add it to by going to the Miscellaneous section in the Customize area under the Edit menu... nope, there is an "About GenX" there but its' just that, an About pop up that when clicked just goes away. This is really odd!
Save your workspace and layout, etc, then try re-applying darkstyle and citylimits ... might be your menu options have gotten stuck and not showing new items. Saving before you reapply the defaults is just in case that's not the problem, at least you can go back.
Sorry to hear Riftwitches idea didn't work....
I remembered cos I lost my hotkeys a while back (related to menu items) and it did the trick. :-)

So Gen X does a nice job on the face but the body was a total bust. I'm pretty sure I did it right. Transferred all the morphs and then tried again as a full body morph, the program is smart, it gives you an option to record the values of each morph transferred to create the FBM but the body still looked too thick and the boobs... what boobs. I was very sad to see them so small. Bigger than the default Genesis but hardly anything to get the boys worked up with. The head morph transferred very nicely though. Oh well. I tried. On to other things.... Cio

Figured it be worth having this referenced at the top of the page.
So, is everyone finished catching up? Anyone still have last-minute decisions you're mulling over? While I should probably save for the PC sale, I'm still thinking about Modern Muses: Summer, and would appreciate seeing some more renders of her, if anyone has any to share. Also considering some 3Dream/Mairy hair (Gregoria or Orion), but I don't really need to see renders of those...just need to make up my mind!
For this sale, I came into it with a (painfully) short shopping list, and have managed to stick to it, for the most part. Next time the PA stuff goes on sale, I think I'll use a different strategy: prioritize the more expensive things, and work my way down the list until the funds dry up. Looking at my purchase history, it appears that I'm more inclined to spend a few dollars each on a handful of cool products that should someday be useful, rather than $15 or more for something amazing that would immediately find its way into some renders. As a result, I keep passing on some of the things I want the most.

OK, that totally worked. How silly of me. I just never think of that shape much anymore since I've gotten into making my own in ZBrush! lol
So I've got the head shape saved out, the body shaped saved out and the FULL INJ saved out.
Can't INJ the head and then the Body shape since BOTH need the V4 shape. What I did was use the V4 Head shape and the Tempest to make the Head INJ, this would be for folks that like making their own body shapes but love the Tempest face. Same with the body, if they prefer a different face shape but the Tempest body is to their liking, they have that option. Then of course the full INJ is for anyone wanting the full Tempest shape.
I wondering if GA wants these files sent to her. They would have to have GenX though and she would have to mentions which packs all these come from so they can transfer what's needed over, then the presets would work fine.
I did mention this in an earlier post, there was no "Fitness" morph transferred over so that might have been part of the Muscular morph set that I didn't have loaded into the cr2 I used to get the morphs transferred. But the one that DAZ has in it's main morph pack for Genesis pretty much mirrors that one for Gen 4 figures so I used that.
Brows Off and On is of no use since there is no area on Genesis that allows for that and the Nails... I can see how I do in ZBrush creating a longer squared nail and include that in the updated breast morphs I need to redo a bit... found out my areolas are expanding too much when I use them even a little bit.. or make a morph to reduce that area... haven't decided yet. Eeek!
OK... just tried the nails in ZBrush. No go. I just don't know enough about that yet. Tiny areas like that are not easy. Not sure how it would do in Hexagon...
I spent waaaaaaaaaaay too much money! And looking over my purchases for the month, I'm finding remarkably few items I'm willing to return. Good sale!
This render just got an Honorable Mention in the PlatClub's 9/20 Inspirations Contest. The Jordan and Evan Hair Bundle is one of AprilYSH's new PA Sale products, and I gotta say that IMHO the movement morphs in the Evan hair were key to the running girl's realism, and were essential to making the render work. Thanks April!

Apparently I wasn't done and put down some money this weekend to help finish a project. Honestly I need to STOP buying crap.
