we NEED to be able to buy this iconic dance move for our Daz dollies to flood YouTube with parodies

    but
    firstly they are 3dsMax bip files
    secondly,
    one look at those prices and I would be buying ipisoft and a kinect and doing it myself!

    lol! I have iClone but not the plugin and kinect
    mainly because my moves are not worth capturing
    so better off spending my money elsewhere
    Mocrap sums it up!
    as bad as I would be with powerpose and puppetter, I am certain it would STILL look better than ME dancing!

    Noo!

    I've found some MikuMikuDance files that work in their program, (and a mod has imported them in to Skyrim.)

    The issue is that I can't get convert the VMD Files in to a file that I can use in Daz Studio..

    there is a way, I know someone on the Reallusion forum who got them into iClone, I can get the MMD figures rigged into Carrara via a collada export plugin, but with no understanding of Japanese do not know how to get the motions in. I am certain it is posible the same way though.

    It either sounds easy or hard to convert one... if my knowledge of written Japanese wasn't at the level of a Pre-schooler..

    I did a quickie video using iClone http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q2KJDnlAJps
    a Carrara epic Halloween one is my next intention, could just reuse my thriller scene with the new moves!!
    I have the MikuMikudance one too but yet to try it out even in MMD.

    I could not find the last DAz motion option unfortunately so joined and downloaded an fbx character
    after saving a take in Autodesk FBX converter I got her animated into Carrara (center)
    Retargeted in 3dxchange pipeline for iClone and re-exported to Carrara left and right

    please how to import the file in daz studio 4.5.1.56, there is no more things in the menu/ File tab. How to proceed now ?

    What's funny is that if I had found a way to convert MMD (MikuMiku Dance) files into a Daz or Poser compatible format, I'd have this already.

    select your figure and choose import and depending on which version you downloaded pick the bvh or pz2 file, you can also drag and drop it from an open window into Daz studio and a dialogue will come up asking which figure you wish to apply it to.
