Me too. Here is one advice about RuntimeDNA freebies that might soon become inactive. When You sort them by price you can get even more freebies then on the their free 3d models page http://www.runtimedna.com/home.php?cat=0&sort=price&sort_direction=0&page=2

Before few days you needed to sort each page again by price in order to see more freebies, now it seems to be fixed only that first page shows some freebies that are priced more then free, but later they are shown again on page 6 or 7. Also this page is not shown in the free page or when items are listed by price, that means it might be good idea to check all those products for some unlisted freebies :) http://www.runtimedna.com/DNA-Fit-For-A-Queen-V2-Clothing-and-Props-Pack.html

It's ony a freebie if you are in the Platimun Club, or purchase an item.

However, there are some new DAZ freebies...

That link is no good; they appear to have eliminated the Freebioe download directory at their site.  You can get WASG Hair here; click on April 1 (no fool'n!  laugh )...

Unlike most of the recent CGAxis freebies, this morning's email brought something a little different...

    http://cgaxis.com/product/free-3d-models-set-2016/

    • No registration or entering email address required to download!
    • You can share the link wherever you like or re-upload this pack to your site, blog etc. without any restrictions!

Not sure when it expires, but most CGAxis freebies have had a time limit on them.

There are some trees, glassware, kitchenware, pizza and chairs.

Just a word to the wise regarding the CGAxis download mentioned in the previous post: it is a very large download. I'm downloading it now and it is already at 500 MB and still going. So be advised if bandwidth is an issue. I'll report back here when it completes with a final tally.

UPDATE: OK, so the download completed at about 700 MB. As I had suspected, the download package contained all the indicated formats and I could not see an option to only download one format anywhere on the site, although it may exist. The package also contains both Windows and MacOSX files.

I'm going to have to wait until tonight...it doesn't have a 'resume'...got over 300 MB this last attempt.  crying

It's the trees...they can be downright huge.

Plus everything is in several formats...obj, fbs, max and c4d...and maybe a couple of each max and c4d formats.

A very nice set of models, but note that the download is nearly 700MB (2GB unzipped) since it has the meshes in all the formats — and it's one of those downloads that comes down as "unknown size", you don't know how big it is until it actually stops. Only the .obj and texture files can really be used in D|S or Poser. Also, they will need a bit of work to use them; e.g. the champagne glass is actually a group of five glasses in a single mesh.

    But...there's something about CGaxis models...

Not sure if anyone is interested in this, but for those of you that check out TurboSquid frequently, there's a way to sort it for new freebies:

    - Enter an empty search on the front page

    - Enter a price of $0 min and $0 max in the filter

    - Sort by newest

There are, of course, models that are in other formats but there should be a fair number of freebies in either OBJ or a convertable format :)

Usable mesh formats for Studio...obj, FBX, DAE (although both are not likely to import proper rigging) and of course any Poser formats (cr2, pp2, etc).

    Easily convertable...blend, 3ds and lwo.

Somewhat harder to convert...dwg, stl, other CAD formats.

Max (max), Maya (ma/mb), SoftImage (xsi) and C4D( c4d)...not easily or impossible to convert without access to the native application.

Image formats...png, jpg, exr, tif, bmp, tga (most systems should be able to use them).

Also bvh files are directly importable.

DAZ's generosity is without limits (and unparalleled). Me, I've never been thrown at by a software company with so many things for free.

The newest one: Stephanie 5 Starter Bundle.

Thank you very much DAZ. smiley

You are very right! If you don't have a lot of money to spend you can still do a lot of things because of all the free stuff, you just need some patience
