Hiya,

Does anyone know if there is a patch to run Bryce 7 on OSX 10.8 Mountain Lion. If not, are there any plans to produce one?

I've tried several times to run it, won't even accept my serial number at registration without crashing.

Cheers,

Shyog

No sorry, there is no patch.

We are assured that it's first thing on Daz's 'to do' list as soon as Bryce enters it's next development cycle.
Sadly, we've no idea when that will be.

Some people have reported working Bryce on a Mountain Lion Mac by installing Parallel Desktop or other Windose emulators.
Other people (myself included) are hanging on to our old Snow Leopard Macs for as long as possible.

If you have an older Mac you can also set up a dual-boot system. That's what I do on my MacPro, which allows me to run 10.6.8 (the last OS Bryce worked under) and 10.8.2.
